Sitting on my couch snuggled up with Halloween candy, pillows and the softest blanket that I've ever felt (seriously!) with Sex & the City playing in the background and my sweet puppy on the floor playing with her toys. I love Tuesday and Thursday afternoons because I get a small break between work and class when I can come home and do things that I feel need to be done... which might not be what really needs to be done but, oh well, nobody is home, so there aren't any eyes to watch and judge! I use this time to center myself whether that be reading, listening to music, playing with my pup or just soaking in my guilty pleasure, Sex & the City (which, as I said, is what I'm doing today!).
Last night was Halloween and since we got not one trick-or-treater at our house my brothers and I went to our aunt and uncle's house to help pass out candy. I love seeing all of the kiddo's dressed up in their costumes. I remember being little and dressing up as a princess, rock-star, kitty-cat etc. and really trying to become princess, rock-star, kitty-cat etc. It was such a fun night that we all looked forward to all month and yesterday I didn't even realize it was Halloween until I looked at the calendar at work. Something so fun should still be fun even when we are adults. Maybe next year we can do something about that!
Oh and on a final happy note: tomorrow is Friday!! Use the weekend to relax as much as my sweet Bamboozle in this picture!
